Practical and right on target. All the hash calculation one might want and then some. Still have to compare accuracy with other applications, though. So far so good.

 Hi!Yesterday I have realy dowloaded FastCRC library. I tried to link it with MS Visual Foxpro 9.0 and VB 6.0. Both cases caused a message \"... entry point not found\". Fastcrc.dll probably is not a real DLL file (like Win32API, for instance). So I don\'t know if I can use it.Best regards from Josef

 Good enough but needs a better user interface In my opinion this useful software needs a more sophisticated user interface to gain satisfaction and usability level improvements.First of all the interface should reflect changes user does directly on the file system such as when deleting a folder through Windows Explorer.In second instance I would suggest some tree organization when showing data. Let's imagine when and why a user should use a software like this... Directory Report Review I wanted to print the directory structure of one of our internal installation CD-ROMs in a tree format. The only option I found so far didn't allow me to out put it in the format I'm uses to. I ususally create the txt file from a tree comand in DOS but couldn't out put hidden folders. I thought I would try your application because it also advertised functionality to use check sums for comparison of data. That would be helpful if I can figure out how to do it.  Hard to understand user interface
DPASHA is great. However, I would like to see some sort of automation or server-side implementation in the future :)
Nice program!It helped me prove which hash was being used in a particular security research issue.I had the password, and the hash, and DPASHA returned a matching hash, thus identifying which hash was being used.Sweet!Kaos Kidd
I needed to verify a file and DPASHA did exactly that. Very intuitive
 The hash algorithms seem to perform well. The interface is clear enough but fairly ugly. A useful addition would be a status bar or progress meter - for large files that take time to process the application window freezes with some display issues (missing buttons etc) and it is hard to tell that it is running even though it is. Overall this did the job for me - as freeware it's good value but I don't know if I'd pay for it in its current form.
My review. I'm not understanding how this works. Does the program decrypt hash into text format or just make a comparison to the hash key it'self? I'm looking for a hash decrypter to convert from md2 md4 md5 sha1 256 512 and so forth. I'm still learning to use the various hashes for encrypting files and other types of media and so on. Thank you for the program.

Best one for calculating SHA1 hash and MD5 I've got a problem with Microsoft tool FCIV for calculating SHA hash, because it doesn't include any help available. Notes in Microsoft KB don't give essential information.And your software do it correctly with appropriate hints. BTW, I find transfer speed information very interesting for user.Thank you a lot.

Opinion. Hello it is working well in fact it is fresh to me this hash subject itself. I have checked OS for example XP and vista hash numbers compared to mücrosoft ones. I can obtain a product a product original or not. As I said before this hash concept new to me. As summary useful and working well. Thanks.
No worky on Vista Aplication would not run at all on windows vista where i tried it. it installed fine, but died on start up.
